Community Involvement
Pipestone is dedicated to giving back to the communities where we live and work through our time, talent, and
resources. Our charitable efforts focus on supporting children and combating food insecurity.
Supporting Kids
McCrossan Boys Ranch
Camp Courageous
Team members had the opportunity to volunteer at the McCrossan
Boys Ranch Rodeo in Sioux Falls, SD. Pipestone’s $25,000
donation supports the important work of McCrossan Boys Ranch,
which helps young boys aged 12 to 20 who have faced life
challenges. The Ranch focuses on guiding them through con昀氀ict
resolution, values development, education, and life skills.
Pipestone contributed $5,000 to support Camp
Courageous in Independence, IA, helping to
fund their programs for individuals of all ages
with disabilities.
Volunteers of America
Pipestone proudly donated $70,000 to the
Children’s Home Society (CHS) in Sioux Falls,
SD. CHS offers residential treatment and care
for children who have experienced traumatic
life events, as well as an emergency shelter for
families in need.
Volunteers of America’s Axis 180 program in Sioux Falls, SD,
provides shelter and support for teenagers transitioning out of
unsafe environments. The program offers a safe space where
they can develop essential life skills for independence. Pipestone
contributed our time, talent, and resources by hosting an evening
focused on building resumes and improving interview skills. The
students arrived eager and ready to learn!
Fighting Food Insecurity
Meat the Need
Our Meat the Need program donated over 80,000 lbs of pork
across the Midwest, feeding 26,000 families. Team members
helped pack boxes for families in need to enjoy a nice holiday
meal.
The Banquet
We cooked and served a hot breakfast at The Banquet in Sioux
Falls, SD. Our donation provided 5,000 meals to adults and
children that may have gone without one.
Fuel4Kids
Pipestone supported over 80 backpack programs across the
Midwest to send home snacks and meals for kids that may
otherwise go hungry over weekend breaks.
